Good wasn't too appetizing and could use some remolding.

The food was great. The servers were kind and accommodating

Customer service has gone down on a once great resturant. It'll be my last time going there. Rude staff needs a freshen up.

Terrible service! Been a few times hoping it would improve, sadly it hasn’t. The waiting staff is more focused on the TV rather than customer service.

The staff was wonderful and very caring but didnt over do it. Helped me with anything I needed and was great with my kids. And the food was so delicious. I am stuffed. They give great portions and it's hot and tasty. The chips were soft and not too hard the salsa was the bomb. Needless to say I'll be back very soon with friends and family.

Came in with a party of 6, (one being an up and coming football star), for an early lunch. Service was spectacular, and the food was excellent. Very well set up for covid-19, as well. We will remember El Sureno for our next visit to Tryon!

Usually pretty good. Last night did not get what I ordered. Didn't refill drinks and chips. Salsa bar was not prepared as before. 2 people mine was 6.50. Total bill 29.00. Kinda shocked. Don't know what the problem was.

Wanted a enchiladas Supreme. Which was 4. Lady didn't understand and said there was a 2 and 1 option. Since I was picking up I said sure. I get home and this thing is tiny. No bigger a fork top. And it was the wrong one.

I'm not a local of the area an have only ate here twice now. With that being said I want to give this place a five star rating for both times I recieved great service and great food.

Food was very tasty and flavorful. Portion sizes were fantastic and prices were great! We ate there during dinner rush time and food came out very quickly. Kitchen staff was prompt and on point! Friendly, attentive staff! Would definitely recommend. Laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly eat here again!

Good service, restaurant is a little outdated and too many booths overwhelm the small space. I had the carne asada and the steak was over cooked and tough. Price is good for what you get. Chips are hot and fresh.

We got SO much food for $50. The salsa was amazing. The veggie fajitas were awesome. The rice is probably the best Mexican food rice I've ever had! The chips were super fresh. I'm in awe honestly. Yum, yum, yum

Excellent food and service

Usually I enjoy this restaurant but I haven't been in a while. The salsa on the bar had no flavor and seemed watered down. My mom didn't recive what she ordered but didnt relise it til we were leaving. They didnt bring her beans and rice. The waiter didn't refill out drinks until we called him down and asked for a refill. I will go back because its usually better.

Chimichunga were Abit SMALL. Maybe the size of my fist if that big. But the people where Nice and courteous and prices were good. Most all the rest of the food I seen was good portions.

Stopped by for dinner with my family today. The server acted like we were putting her out by walking in the door. We sat outside and had to ask to order drinks and get menus. We got some queso and when she dropped it off that was the last time we saw a server. We finally tracked someone down and asked for the check to leave and get dinner elsewhere. Didn't realize until later that they charged my aunt for 2 iced teas, even though there was only one person drinking tea at our table and she didn't get a refill. When my aunt called they offered no refund, no apology. I know it's only a tea, but that along with the rudeness was the nail in the coffin. Cannot recommend this place. My aunt is a local and will never return.

Great food! Fast too! Prices are too high! Peach margarita was heavenly! Staff was very attentive, and helpful. Our drinks stayed filled! I would recommend this place to my friends!

Great tacos, nice salsa bar, and cold beer on tap. I like the grilled chicken tacos on corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. Just add a squeeze of lime and the salsa of your choice. You'll never eat a taco bell taco again if you try one.

The waiters are very friendly, and the service is quick. You won't have to wait 20 minutes for your food to arrive like some restaurants. The food itself is really good, and the atmosphere is great!
